In 2018, the idea for Bali AI Travel began not in a boardroom, but on a scooter navigating the crowded lanes of Canggu. Co-founders Wayan Putra, a third-generation Balinese hospitality expert, and Dr. Anya Sharma, a data scientist specializing in predictive analytics, observed a crucial gap. Visitors sought authentic connection but often settled for generic tours or spent hours sifting through conflicting online reviews. Putra, with his intimate knowledge of the island’s pulse, understood the nuances of Balinese culture and the local economy.
