Our AI is only as good as the data it’s trained on. Unlike platforms that scrape public review sites, our knowledge base is a proprietary, curated dataset built through a multi-stage process:

Initial Sourcing: Our curation team, led by industry veterans from our Our Team page, identifies potential partners through industry networks, direct referrals, and by monitoring accolades from respected bodies like the World Luxury Hotel Awards and Forbes Travel Guide.
Primary Vetting: We conduct a thorough initial review, verifying legal compliance (such as a valid *Tanda Daftar Usaha Pariwisata – TDUP*), safety records, and alignment with our sustainability principles.
In-Person Audits: No partner is added to our ‘approved’ list without an in-person, often unannounced, site visit from our curation specialists. This process is detailed in Our Methodology.
Data Integration: Only after passing these stages is a partner’s information, including unique attributes and qualitative assessments, added to our AI’s training data.

Flight availability is cross-referenced with IATA and airline data, while weather forecasts are pulled directly from Indonesia’s BMKG. Conflict of Interest & Independence Policy
