Mid-range hotels average USD 100–200 a night, luxury USD 300–500 or more. Beyond the hotel, budget from USD 150 a day for transport, food and activities.
The dry season, April to September, avoids the monsoon rains, though deals exist year-round. Many bundles include free cancellation, useful around the December wedding season.
